Kanako Shuku Born in Hiroshima Japan. She began playing the flute at the age of twelve. She won the first prize of Mainichi Music Junior Competition in Yamaguchi when she was fifteen years old. She studied at Musashino Academy of Music. After graduation she gave recitals across Japan. She conducted performances at concerts both as solo flutist and as a member of ACT Recorder Ensemble. She performed not only in Japan but also in overseas countries. She moved to the US in 1994 and studied with Zart Eby Dombourian,
principal piccolo player of Seattle Symphony Orchestra. She gave concerts in Seattle and seminars and performances in the
countries of Central & South America. In 2007 she moved to Budapest Hungary. She studied with Lóránt Kovács, Professor of Ferenc Liszt Academy of Music, Budapest. She is giving performances in Hungary. She moved to Spain in
2011.She is doing music activities in both Spain and Japan based
at Malaga in Andalusia where
she lives. These days she is performing many concerts with J.
