These three ladies were the winners of the Young Artist Competition. From
left to right,
Ms. Joanna Wu: 2nd prize
Ms. Laura Kaufman: 1st prize
Ms. Abi Coffer: 3rd prize.
Since there was almost no clear difference in the ability of
the two persons of 1st prize and 2nd prize, I
supposed that it was difficult for the judges to make the decision.
I thought
that it was rare that two excellent competitors having no faultless met in the
same competiton.
I guess that the point of making the last judgement of the
ranking was that the difficulty of the music pieces which they had
chosen.
The piece, "Orange Dawn by Ian Clarke " played by Ms. Joanna Wu was a
very beautiful
music.
この３人の女性は、今年のヤングアーティストコンペティション入賞者３人です。１位と２位の差は殆どなく、審査員たちを困らせたようです。私も、これほど、非の打ち所がないコンペティターはなかなかいないと思いました。結局、この１位と２位の差は、だただた、最終的に、選択した曲の難易度で決めるに至るしかなかったことと思います。Ms.
Joanna Wu の演奏した、"Orange Dawn by Ian Clarke "は、大変美しい曲でした。
